Helpful by choice.
Quiet by default.
Crumb keeps your food diary so the assistants you connect can help you eat well. Here is everything it stores, who sees it and how to make it disappear.
What Crumb stores
Your account (name, email, sign-in method), meal photos you send, meals and their estimates, meal plans, your taste profile and targets.
If you turn on Apple Health sharing in the iPhone app, the workouts, activity and energy you choose.
Who sees it
Only you, and the assistants you connect (for example ChatGPT or Claude). Each one asks for your permission first and you can disconnect it at any time.
Crumb has no ads, does not sell data and does not use your data to train models. Assistants process what they read under their own privacy policies.
Where it lives
On Cloudflare’s network (database and photo storage). Photos are private and are only served to you and your connected assistants.
Sign-in codes are emailed through Resend. “Continue with Google” runs through Google’s Firebase sign-in, which only confirms your Google account; Crumb removes Firebase’s copy right away. “Continue with Apple” runs through Apple’s own sign-in window, which confirms your Apple Account (you can hide your email from Crumb).
Deleting
Delete a meal and its photo is removed. Delete your account in the app (You → Account → Delete account) or at /account and everything above is erased.
Contact details are on Crumb’s App Store page.
