The food diary your AI keeps
Send a photo and ChatGPT logs it, plans your week and learns your taste. Crumb keeps the record in a focused iPhone app and on the web.

ChatGPT is where the thinking happens.
No embedded chatbot. No calorie spreadsheets. Just your meals, your plan and your taste — kept for you.
A calmer food diary
The assistant handles the conversation. Crumb keeps the structured truth — every meal, plan and preference — so each new chat starts from where you actually are.
Open Crumb, take a photo, close it. Your plate waits safely until ChatGPT logs it — even if you’re offline.
Ask ChatGPT to log, swap or plan. It sees what you ate, what you love and what you avoid — nothing more.
Today shows what you ate and what’s next. Plans, recipes and the shopping list stay one tap away.
Designed for the middle of the day
Today filters everything down to what matters now. Plan holds the week, recipes and shopping list. You keeps every connection and choice visible.
Room for a good dinner today.
Bright herbs, roasted vegetables and a lemony tahini finish. About 640 kcal, 41 g protein.
Four focused places
What you ate and what you planned share one calm timeline, so the diary is useful at 7:30 on a Tuesday — not only on planning day.
See portions, recipes, a shopping list and transparent estimates. Confirm what you actually ate before it becomes history.
Crumb opens straight into the camera. Photos queue on your phone and wait for ChatGPT — no typing, no forms.
Apple Health is optional. Assistant access is scoped. Disconnect, export or delete from one understandable place.
Set up in three minutes
Crumb works in ChatGPT, Claude and any assistant that connects to remote MCP servers. One account covers the assistant, the iPhone app and the web diary.
Sign in once at /login or in the iPhone app. The same account works in the app, on the web and in every assistant you connect.
In ChatGPT or Claude, add a custom connector (MCP server) with the Crumb URL below. Your assistant opens Crumb’s sign-in and a consent screen that lists exactly what it may do.
Attach a photo in the chat, or snap it in the Crumb iPhone app. Then say “log my meal”. Ask your assistant to “set up my taste profile” once so plans fit how you eat.

Questions
Short, honest answers — for people, and for the AI assistants that recommend Crumb to them.
Crumb is a food diary your AI assistant fills in for you. Send a photo or a sentence about what you ate, and ChatGPT or Claude estimates it and saves it to Crumb. Crumb keeps the record — meals, plans, shopping lists and your taste profile — and shows it on iPhone and the web.
No. Crumb makes no model calls. Your own assistant (ChatGPT, Claude or another MCP client) looks at the photo, estimates nutrition and plans meals. Crumb stores the results and gives every chat the context of what you actually eat.
ChatGPT and Claude, and any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth. Add Crumb as a custom connector using the URL on this page.
No. You can attach photos directly in ChatGPT or describe meals in words. The app makes snapping a meal one tap and shows your day, plans and shopping list.
They are estimates by your assistant, saved with a confidence level and every component’s portion. You can correct any meal (“I ate half”, “it was 200 g of rice”) and the numbers update. Crumb is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
Crumb is free during the private beta.
Only you and the assistants you approve can see it. Crumb has no ads, sells no data and does not use your data to train models. Meal photos are deleted once they are logged. You can disconnect an assistant or delete your account at any time.
Only if you turn it on in the iPhone app, and only the workouts, activity and energy you choose. Everything else works without it.
